Comfort from God

Here are some Bible verses that have comforted me:

“Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.” –1st Peter 5:7

“You keep track of all my sorrows.[a]
You have collected all my tears in your bottle.
You have recorded each one in your book.” –Psalm 56:8

  • “There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven:
  • a time to be born and a time to die,
  • a time to plan and a time to uproot,
  • a time to kill and a time to heal,
  • a time to tear down and a time to build,
  • a time to weep and a time to laugh,
  • a time to mourn and a time to dance.”  –Ecclesiastes 3:1-4

“But the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.  To Him be the power for ever and ever. Amen.” –1 Peter 5:10-11

“Let Him have all your worries and cares, for He is always thinking about you and watching everything that concerns you.” –1 Peter 5:7 (different version)

“The Lord is near.  Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.  And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” –Phillipians 4:4-7

“When they walk through the Valley of Weeping, it will become a place of refreshing springs, where pools of blessing collect after the rains!” –Psalm 84:6

“But this I call to mind, and therefore I have hope: The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. “The Lord is my portion,” says my soul, “therefore I will hope in Him.”–Lamentations 3:21-24

“May the God of Hope fill you with all Joy and Peace as you trust in Him so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” –Romans 15:13

Please let me know if I can pray for you about anything.
